Block Storage

What is block storage?

In the BDRSuite Backup Server, block storage refers to a type of storage used for the backup repository. The block storage option allows you to configure the backup server to use block-level storage devices, such as hard disk drives (HDDs) or solid-state drives (SSDs), or any type of network drives like NAS(NFS and CIFS), and SAN(iSCSI and FC) for storing backup data.
