Download VMs & Disk(s)

BDRSuite’s “Download VMs & Disks” recovery option enables you to download your backup data in multiple formats. Irrespective of the source backed up data format, BDRSuite allows you to download backup data in different formats.

You can download backup data in any of the following formats and use it to perform cross platform migration (V2P & P2V) and cross hypervisor migration (V2V)

The VHD format is a common format for Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machine disk images.

The VHDX format is an updated version of the VHD format and is used for Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machine disk images.

The VMDK format is a common format for VMware virtual machine disk images.

The Flat-VMDK file format is a type of virtual disk image file used by VMware products, such as VMware Workstation and VMware vSphere. It is used to store the virtual machine’s disk data in a single file that can be easily moved or copied between systems.

The RAW format is a common format for storing raw disk data without any additional file system information.
