How to Configure Public Storage in BDRSuite

Setting up an public cloud (object storage) repository in BDRSuite is a simple process. Follow these steps to get started:

  • Begin by Downloading and installing the BDRSuite Backup Server. Then, log in to the backup server console.
  • Navigate to the ‘Backup Server Tile -> Object Storage’ Menu.
  • Create New Object Storage Repository: Click on “Create New Object Storage Repository.”
  • Enter a unique Repository name, select the Repository Type and choose the object storage repository – S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud, S3 Compatible, where you want to store your data.
  • Finally, click ‘Create’ to create your object storage backup repository.
  • BDRSuite will handle the rest, ensuring your data is safely stored and easily accessible whenever you need it.
