Custom fields are used to capture important data specific to your business requirements by specifying some field-related information and the custom fields feature in Vembu SalesDesk provides this flexibility. Once the custom fields are configured by administrators, these fields are made available in the appropriate places.

In Vembu SalesDesk, an  Administrator of a Company can add new fields in Lead & Accounts page as per his business requirements. These fields will be available in Lead/Account addition process as well as to all Leads and account which were added to his company .

Steps to follow to add a Custom Field in Vembu SalesDesk

  1. Go to settings tab of Vembu SalesDesk and click on Custom fields provided in left panel.
  2. Click on Add a custom field button.
  3. Select the page in which the Custom field has to be added.
  4. Now enter the name of the field,choose the type of the field required and also the choose the option to set the field as mandatory or not.
  5. Finally Click on add, and custom field will added successfully
  6. Now the added custom field can be checked in that respective page of the Vembu  SalesDesk.
