How to Enable Self-Service Access for Clients

  • Login to BDRSuite Server Console.
  • Create User: Navigate to Backup Server Tile -> Users page. Click on the ‘Add User’ button. Create a user account with username and password.
  • Assign Entities: Now navigate to tenants and Add appropriate entities to the user under each of the selected entity types.
  • Assign Role: Add user with either Read Only or Recovery Access privilege.
  • Now the users added will have access to the BDRSuite’s Self-service Recovery UI.They can login with the username and password.

How to perform End-User Recovery

  • Login to BDRSuite Server Console with the User Credentials.
  • Navigate to Recovery tab.
  • Click on restore corresponding to the backup job to restore the data.
